These are groups that the player is able to join.

1. Bounty Hunter Guild
Recommended classes - Any.
A bounty hunter is someone who makes a living recovering fugitives. The Bounty Hunter Guild is a good place to aquire such jobs. The Guild can be found in Valos.

2. Kora Hunters
Recommended classes - Ranger, Druid.
The Kora Hunters place high value on the honorable hunting of animals. By honorable, they mean by becoming a part of nature. For instance, they discourage hunters from killing more than they will eat, they teach hunters to use their weapons safely, and so on.

3. Brute Squad
Recommended classes - Barbarian, Fighter.
This is a group of strong warriors in Grunthar.

4. Alta Swordsman's Guild
Recommended classes - Fighter, Weapons Master.
This group is for the educated swordsman - the kind who prefers to use finesse in battle rather than brutally hack his opponent to pieces.

5. Virtuoso College
Recommended classes - Bard.
Any musician worth his salt has studied here at some time in his life.

6. Inner Eye
Recommended classes - Rogue, Shadowdancer, Blackguard, Assassin.
Charta's "Mob", this organized crime syndicate is based in Valos, but has operatives all over Charta.

7. Knowledge Society
Recommended classes - Wizard, Bard, Sorceror.
This group is for those who are truly learned. How to join this group is a secret, and they only accept those with high ranks in lore.

*** B. Religious Groups ***

Again, there are no actual gods in this mod. However, characters may still roleplay the worship of a higher being. This is a list of the most popular religions in the mod. I have included suggested alignments for those of you who like to follow the ol' "one-step rule" when selecting a deity. However, in most worlds the one-step rule prevents you from falling out of favor with your god. Since none of these gods are "real", there's nothing to prevent anyone of any alignment worshipping anyone they wish.

1. Norgalla (Lawful Good)
Recommended classes - Fighter, Cleric, Paladin, Champion of Torm
This is a cult who worships an ancient wise warrior named Norgalla. Worshippers of Norgalla typically wear brown robes, use glowing blue blades, and value the power of the mind and spirit over the pleasures of the flesh. Norgalla is usually seen as a "good" deity, while Ris Kiree is "evil"; however, anyone of any alignment can worship either deity. Doctrines are always open to interpretation, after all.

2. Ris Kiree (Lawful Evil)
Recommended classes - Fighter, Rogue, Shadowdancer, Blackguard, Assassin.
The sworn enemies of Norgalla, worshippers of Ris Kiree wear black robes, use glowing red blades, and believe that strength and power are the most important qualities to possess. Both religions, Norgalla and Ris Kiree, were brought to Charta relatively recently, by worshippers from other continents. However, some ruins have been discovered in the deserts near Grunthar which seem to indicate that worshippers have been to Charta before. It is quite possible that the religions even originated on Charta, thousands of years ago.

3. Yniri (True Neutral)
Recommended classes - Druid, Ranger.
An elven goddess, also known as the spirit of the forest. Yniri is worshipped by the citizens of Ynara. Yniri is said to protect nature, and her essence exits in all the animals, trees, and elves of the forest. She is generally seen as a good deity, placing value on life above all else. However, some Yniri worshippers take her doctrines to evil extremes. Some Yniri-worshippers kill hunters on sight; and still others have a deep hatred for all outsiders, especially non-elves.

4. Talo-Ka (Chaotic Neutral)
Recommended classes - Red Dragon Disciple.
A dragon-like goddess worshipped by those from the continent of Exotera. Talo-Ka worshippers love fire, and often burn animals as a sacrifice to their goddess. Some Talo-Ka worshippers consider nonbelievers to be just as low as animals, and have no compunctions about taking human life as a gift to their goddess. For this reason, Talo-Ka is often seen as an evil god. However, this does have to be the case, and you could easily roleplay a Talo-Ka worshipper who is ashamed of how the religion has been twisted by some of its followers.

5. Chikar (Chaotic Evil)
Recommended classes - Any.
This is a relatively new religion, less than 100 years old. It started when a small group of people witnessed a large glowing vehicle land in the desert. From this vehicle came Chikar, who claimed to be a great celestial traveler. He claimed that he had started all civilization thousands of years ago, and is now preparing the world for his return. Chikarans believe that their god created the universe and everything in it. Whether he is good or evil isn't a consideration; since the universe belongs to him, it's his to do with as he pleases. Chikarans also believe that their lives have no value, and will die willingly if they believe it will please their god.
